Weapons Retention and
    Disarming
Course

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE:

This 4 hour course is designed to teach students how to retain their firearm in and out of holster. Through use of body mechanics and proper carry techniques, students will learn to retain their weapon in either when deployed or when in a holster, be it while moving or stationary. Our course also offers the student techniques to defend against removal their weapon both in and out of the holster. The Disarming part of the course will allow students to familiarize themselves with techniques that remove them from harm's way if presented with a firearm. Disarming techniques will also cover one and two hand disarming. Course will also cover weapons failure drills as they pertain to disarming techniques. 

This version T.S.C.’s Weapons Retention and Disarming will be restricted to Law Enforcement, Military Personnel, and High Risk Security Professionals ONLY. Students should have a solid background in firearms skills and basic disarming skills. Students should be in good psychical condition.

Gear list:

  • Comfortable clothing or duty uniform

  • Duty belt and holster

  • Red or blue training gun of your duty weapon recommended but not required

 

The cost of the course is $200.00 per person

 

Disclaimer: These techniques are very dangerous in nature and not a guarantee. Any attendee to the class will be subject to physical search for loaded weapons. ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE FIREARMS are allowed in the class. If a student is found to have a combination of firearm or ammunition at the class they will be asked to leave and refund will be forfeited.
